Bull Bitcoin is a Canadian self-custodial Bitcoin wallet that supports the Liquid Network for instant, low-fee payments. This tutorial shows you how to export your Liquid CT (Confidential Transaction) descriptor to use with Bitcoin POS for receiving Liquid payments.
Select Instant Payments
From the main Bull Bitcoin wallet screen, tap on Instant payments (Liquid and Lightning network). This section manages your Liquid wallet for fast, confidential transactions.
Open Wallet Settings
On the Instant Payments screen, tap the settings gear icon in the top right corner. This will take you to the wallet configuration options where you can access your descriptor.
Access Wallet Details
In the settings menu, tap on Wallet Details. This section contains your wallet's technical information including the CT descriptor needed for Bitcoin POS.
Copy the Descriptor
Scroll down to find the Descriptor section. You'll see it shows "Confidential Segwit" as the address type and "Liquid Network" as the network. Tap the Copy button to copy the descriptor to your clipboard for use with Bitcoin POS.
Security Note
The CT descriptor is a watch-only credential that allows you to generate receiving addresses and monitor your balance. It does not contain your private keys, so sharing it with Bitcoin POS is safe and will not give anyone the ability to spend your funds.
