Blockstream Green is a secure Bitcoin wallet developed by Blockstream, the company behind the Liquid Network. This tutorial shows you how to export your Liquid CT (Confidential Transaction) descriptor to use with Bitcoin POS for receiving private Liquid payments.
Select Liquid Bitcoin
From the Blockstream Green home screen, locate your Liquid Bitcoin under the Assets section and tap on it. This is your L-BTC wallet on the Liquid Network.
Choose Your Account
Select your Legacy SegWit Account or another single signature account type. Note: 2FA Protected accounts are not supported as they use a legacy format that cannot be represented as CT descriptors.
Open Account Menu
On your account screen, tap the three-dot menu icon in the top right corner. This opens additional options including the watch-only export feature.
Copy the Descriptor
On the Watch-only screen, you'll see your Output Descriptors. The app explains that you can use your descriptor to view your balance while keeping private keys offline. Tap the copy button next to your account descriptor to copy it for use with Bitcoin POS.
Security Note
The CT descriptor is a watch-only credential that allows you to generate receiving addresses and monitor your balance. It does not contain your private keys, so sharing it with Bitcoin POS is safe and will not give anyone the ability to spend your funds.
